Not too serious, but yeah.

The start of a new week is usually the time to reflect, yadah yadah yadah.

Please, this is not a serious-serious post. Baby girl’s just trying to keep herself accountable. I want to review and then give an account of the week.

Okay, here goes:

So, this week was the first week of FAB (Female Accountability Buddy) by Dreams and Degrees. An accountability program responsible for peering you up with a suitable accountability partner that shares goals similar to yours — these goals are previously stated in a form. And the end of every two months, your performance gets reviewed and then depending on your performance you can adjust your timetable and pat yourself on the back (or tell yourself you could do better, depending).

My week’s goal was to:

  1. Solve a question on binarysearch.com every Tuesday and Thursday. Tried the first day, the second one (in the words of the infamous Sophia the zeroth) “e tie wrapper”. But we go again!
  2. Solve a question from algoexpert.io every day (i paid for the course with money that I don’t have * insert teary emoji*, )oh well, sacrifices, sacrifices. Tried two easy questions. Then ran to A* algorithms to test me. Men and brethren, the lord is good. Na there we still de. (In English: we ain't done nuthin’ significant yet). *insert black glasses emoji*
  3. Start a book and try to read from it each day. ✅✅✅✅✅✅ This one was operation successful.
  4. Do pramp.com sessions at the end of the week.

Now, this last one is so dear to me that I accomplished it. I didn’t exactly do well, but I learnt plenty on how actual interviews work and the plenty of things I need to brush up on, so yeah. I'm happy I summoned the courage to do it.

Unto other things, I've been encountering errors trying to install and run this software properly since last week. Pray for me whoever reads this.

Dear universe, please help me run the Ubuntu OS and frappe framework, successfully.

And may the tech forces favour us 🙏🤲.

A tech-amen to that!

Ps: next week’s schedule is very similar to this, although I might make adjustments to include more learning time.

And yeah, I know my post is like a nerd’s. But we’re trying to ramp up our careers, so…yeah!

Okay, bye now!

Have a great week!
